Avionics

Handling the flight electronics, working in Avionics you'll gain considerable electrical, circuit board and embedded system knowledge.

ADCS

Developing the hardware and software that orients the CubeSat, you'll gain electrical, software and mechanical knowledge.

Mechanical

Creating the structural components behind the satellite, you will develop strong skills in CAD design, FEA studies and more.

Software

Our software departments specialises in embedded system development. Working in this department grows coding skills, project management and more

Marketing

Marketing shapes the team's image. From website development to social media, graphic design, 3D modelling and so much more, this is where creative minds thrive.

Team Development manages the team on an interpersonal scale. Organising team events, outreach tasks and sponsorships.

Learning more about the team

Past Information Night

Come join us on our semesterly information nights in Week 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know the team better, understand what we do, engage in activities and decide whether it's the right fit for you. This event is not compulsory and a video link will be sent out to those who cannot attend.

The 2026 Semester 1 Information Night will be held on the 26th of February in the Tim Winton Lecture Theatre from 5-7pm. This is a walk-in event and does not require registration.

Getting to know you

Submit an Application

We ask you to complete an application to help us get to know you and your interest in joining the team. Be yourself and answer each question in a few sentences, showing why you want to be a part of our team! You can edit your application for up to 2 days after starting.

Applications for Semester 1 2026 close at the end of Week 3 (March 8th).

Becoming a recruit

Onboarding Process

If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to join onboarding process, where over eight weeks you'll learn the fundamentals to technical or team resource departments on a series of mini-projects. You’ll be introduced to all the departments, members and so much more!

Assessing your onboarding process

Interview

After the onboarding process, we'll hold a short interview to get to know you better, figure out which department you would like to get involved in and help integrate you into the team

Acceptance

If we see you are a good fit and have demonstrated yourself, we will invite you to become our newest accepted member.
